I want to start shooting 3 gun. the only high cap pistol i currently  own is a Tarus PT 92. witch i shoot pretty good. the holster is a BlackHawk level 2 drop leg tactical. My goal is a Glock 34 and XD competition in 40 cal. But until then will their be any problem with this set up be accepteable ?

don't know your exact location in Fla, but some clubs  do not allow Serpa holsters... you might check at your local club first

The PT92 will be fine to start with - just make sure that when you abandon it, you do so in compliance with match safety requirements (usually completely unloaded or with the safety/decocker applied). Pistol is such a small part of most 3-Gun matches that you can probably get away with the Taurus for quite some time. If/when you do invest in a new pistol, I would recommend a 9mm instead of a .40, because 3-Gun rules do not typically reward major power factor like pistol-only matches. 9mm will be cheaper and faster with no real downside. Oh, and I would recommend choosing EITHER the Glock OR the XD, but not both... the grip angle is different between the two, and switching back and forth will be counterproductive.
