| I've been researching all the various offerings for 3 Gun shotguns. It seems the most popular models are the 930 JM, Benelli M2, Versa Max, Beretta 1301, and Stoeger M3000. I don't see much mention of the SLP Competition. How does it stack up to the the other guns out there? Anyone have one? Thanks |

Thanks. I don't know anything about them, so that's why I asked. I was thinking the SLP had a pretty good reputation. The Competition model seems to be a fairly new offering, so I didn't think it would be outdated. I've Googled them and found suprisingly little info. Just so we are on the same page, this is the one I was looking at:

Older design, less reliable. I see them malfunction a lot. With all the other great choices, why would you? |

Your money is better spent elsewhere than the SLP Competition, and you'll get better value out of that spent money. Too much that the SLP Competition still needs done to it to be race-ready. I agree, for a bit more money you can get a Benny Hill tricked out M2 or Versa Max. If you are trying to keep it in the $1200 range ready to shoot the Beretta 1301 runs good. |
