What's your favorite birdshot load for routine 3G clays & falling steel?

Same as above. Dicks had a buy 1 and 2nd half price off this past week.

Win AA, 2.75dr, 1-1/8oz, #7.5

I use the Win AA super sport 1 oz 7.5 shot going about 1300 fps, but my gun just seems to like those better than the slower non super sports.

On a side note if your gun has a 3" chamber. A 3" shell with two oz of 6 shot makes short work of spinners. A solid hit will do it in one shot with a full choke, though I suppose that depends on how your particular gun patterns.

Don't tell everyone that, Academy has enough problems keeping it in stock. But I just cleaned out the new Wal-Mart yesterday.

Tell me about it, I've been stalking the Academy near me a LOT and they aren't getting it in.  The Walmarts I've checked have only been getting the 3dr stuff.

The Remington STS have run very well for me also in my previous shotgun, although I can't say I've tested them in my current shotgun.

I ran 3 boxes of "low recoil" STS 7.5, 1oz through my Beretta 1301 and about 1 out of 5 would not fully cycle the action.  All the regular velocity STS run great.

Can't recall which I used, but I know it was no higher than 3dr.....1-1/8oz, like #7.5 or 8.

Remington Heavy Dove - 1 1/8oz of 7.5 shot at 1255fps.  My go-to round for 90% of targets.

Remington STS are good shells line Winchster AA's too.  They have been doing a rebate the last few years too.

The Wal-Mart on 35 in Round Rock had plenty 7 1/2 yesterday, what shotgun are you shooting now?

Grrr, every Walmart I tried just had 1300fps AAs.

Switched to a M2.

My shop sponsors my shooting and I typically run fiocchi trainer loads with ZERO issues in my JM pro, if it's not available then I'll use federal target load

Am I the only one here that prefers to run Federal shells? I always like to run #7.5 1 1/8 shot target loads.

I've run 1,000s of Federal Top Gun and Wally bulk pack #71/2 and #8.  Just recently ran into some Wally #8's that were out of round and did not chamber in my JM Pro.  4-5 shells per box

After a quick email to Federal they sent me another bulk pack box.  Good on them.

If I must be 100% sure (classifier, big match) I am using Winchester AA 1200-1300 FPS #71/2 - #9s.

I run Challenger 7.5 lite target loads ( great ammo and cheap here in Canada)
