| I have an old M1 Super 90, its very hard to push the shells past the shell stop when trying to speed load. I was thinking about cutting the small spring under the shell stop. I'm looking for help any ideas. Thanks |

Don't cut the little spring under the shell stop. You're best bet is to work on the shell-stop itself.
Options to modify: Give it a slight bend, so it catches the shell rim less. Enlarge the two U-shaped cuts in the shell stop, so that it will bend easier as you're loading shells. Use a dremel on the shell-stop, to cut a small groove that will let the shells pass by easier. Also can polish this up nice and shiny.
