I have a Bushmaster Predator.
20" barrel, free float handgaurd, 3lb trigger job, Nikon 4X14X40 and Burris PERP mount. My plan is to add a Burris Fast Fire lll on a Blackhawk 45 offset mount. I have this rifle to shoot predators and varmints on the farm. This is the only AR I have and have no plans for another at the moment. Also I do not no of any legit matches in my area but I have plans for a few family and friends events. Just want opinions, suggestions, or other options. |
| For 3 gun the 4-14x scope is a bit much. I would recommend against buying the red dot right away unless you want it for other purposes. Adding a red dot is a viable option but it would put you in the Open Division competing against the fastest guns. To get started the 4-14 will do you just fine and give you time to get your feet wet and figure out an alternative that suites your budget and reticle preference. Good luck. |
