However reloads with rifles in three gun is not a huge concern. Usually I just use a big enough mag so I don't have to reload. Pat |

I have seen multiple BAD levers and similar devices cause the bolt to lock back with rounds left in the mag. I do not know if this the fault of the shooters, coming too far off the trigger during reset, or the fault of the lever, but enough issues that I'm not interested in trying one out. If you decide to try one, make sure you test it thoroughly.

There enough of an advantage I can not see going back to not using one. Pat |

You don't see any of the top 20 Pro Series guys running a BAD type lever. These guys don't do mag changes unless there is still a round in the chamber. Most run 40-100 round mags to avoid running put of ammo and ever having the bolt lock back on high round count stages.
Little gizmos like this can come loose, fall off, turn, twist etc causing malfunctions that otherwise wouldn't have occurred. |

With respect I have never had an issue with a BAD lever and I run them on all my AR's. I also installed them on all of my departments work guns. They make reloads faster and malfuction clearances much faster. Seldom is this an issue in the game I do admit. But still a worthwhile piece of gear in my opinion. Pat |
| I definitely see the good side of the device. I just didn't like clamping anything behind my bolt release. When a screw loosens up and I can't get the bolt catch in I'm fooked. I also don't like wiggling my finger around inside the trigger guard unless I'm pulling the trigger. |

I understand the bolt getting loose but it comes with locktite and in thousands of rounds has not come loose on me. Also the way you use the BAD you don't put your finger in the trigger guard you just swipe it up or down on the outside of the trigger guard. I think its the best thing for AR's since flat top recievers. Pat |

Release levers definitely have their place, but they cause more problems than they solve in 3 gun. Thats just it I have never seen them cause any problems. I agree we seldom need them but they have never hurt me on a stage and once or twice they have come in handy when I had a mandatory reload standards stage. I do agree its not a must have by any means. Pat |
