The Noveske Shooting Team designed Rail Integrated Offset irons Sight (RIOS) System, bolts directly into the  Troy TRX E slots and provide for quick target acquisition for those short range engagements.  The RIOS system mounts closer to the barrel than the current picatinny rail mounting offset systems. The NST RIOS system includes a fiber front sight (will also accept other front sight inserts), adjustable rear sight, everything you need, nothing you don't.

Also, there will be versions to work with other rail systems coming soon!  Keep an eye on Noveske.com for details including pricing and more details.

As a TRX Extreme user, that looks very cool.  I know that rules differ for different matches, but are these normally legal for Tac Optics?

So the rear sight mounts onto the extreme back of the handguard?

Yes it is legal for Tac optics which permits only one optic, this doesn't classify as an optic.

It will mount anyplace there is a trx e rail slot.

The rear sight would have to be too far forward for my tastes since it has to be mounted to the Troy handguard.

Will the current version work on the VTAC version rail?

I was thinking the same thing when I asked where it mounted. Looking through a rear peep that is roughly a foot or more in front of your eye may be problematic. Of course I have never seen this sight in person so I can't comment 1st hand, but the other A2 peeps that I have shot, the closer to my eye the better.

Some updated photos with some revisions... Cut out the peep, going to enlarge it some more and go test it out.

I do like the weight savings these would seem to provide and the standard notch would work better further from the eye than an apature. (did not notice the notch sight in the first post) Will you be bringing these to the Texas Multi Gun match so we can look at them? One other question the new K9's that fit on the Troy rail. Will these be ready before April by chance?
Thanks
Pat

Pricing? Any future plans for a flip up version?
