| I have already installed JP springs in my polished up single stage trigger. Is this a pretty good option, especially for the money or are there options that are much better? Thanks guys. |

Are you on a budget? If so than keep what you got.
Next question is do you prefer a single stage or two stage? I prefer a single stage so that rule Geissele. Currently running an Elftmann flat face 3 gun trigger which pretty awesome. The other gun has a Timney single stage trigger which is pretty good and a little cheaper. |

The only other improvement you can make is to take out the long creepy take up of the 'mil spec' trigger - A cut down grip screw, or just buy this 15 bux unit http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/JoeBob_s_Trigger_Adjuster_p/jb-triggeradjuster.htm After that, your next bet is a Rise Armament trigger $100 https://02b5f6c.netsolstores.com/cart.aspx Of course, you can go beyond the 100 bux envelope quickly since the majority of aftermarket 'match grade' triggers seemed to hover around $150-$200 range. |

Geisselle makes single stage triggers- the awesom SD3G as recommended in this post. Great trigger |

Not in the same realm as far as money goes, but the ELFTMANN TACTICAL 3 gun trigger is absolutely breathtaking I agree. I recently installed one and the range trip with it was mind-blowing. I even let a buddy of mine shoot with it and he nearly soiled himself. Now, he wants one. For those who have not tried one, you need to. |

I've been using the SD3G for 6+ years now. I have multiple sets of them. Wanted to try something different so I bought a set of the ELF 3 Gun last year. Wasn't impressed at all. Quality wasn't on par with Geissele products and the trigger break was weird; guess I'm just too used to the SD3G. |

Have you even shot one? Do you know the difference between a single stage and two stage? |

Be ready for 1000 different answers. Everyone has a favorite, and they are all different.
Narrow your decision down to 2 stage or single stage triggers. That will narrow your search down a lot. I prefer a single stage. I use a Hiperfire 24C that has been Nickel Boron coated. I bought mine before the 24TH came out. You really should try a few out. Go to a 3gun match and ask people what they have, and see if they will let you dry fire it at the safe table. 99% of people at the match will. I love my 24C. One of the guys I shoot with swears by the AR Gold. I've tried his, and he's tried mine. I don't like his trigger, and he doesn't like mine. Triggers are very subjective, very much about feel. And everyone is going to like a different feel. |

I thought the AR-Gold was the best two stage (although there is barely a first stage) and the of the one stages Effleman, Rise, then Timney. Haven't ever shot the Wilson or JP. I had 4 SD3Gs at one point before I knew better. If there was a best value choice the CMC is fairly close to the other single stage triggers mentioned. I usually shoot my go to ar in comps (suppressed SBR) that has a CMC.

And then there was one more added to the frey........tell you what, looks to be a lot like a Timney and the price is pretty good too.
