I have already installed JP springs in my polished up single stage trigger. Is this a pretty good option, especially for the money or are there options that are much better? Thanks guys.

Not in the same realm as far as money goes, but the ELFTMANN TACTICAL 3 gun trigger is absolutely breathtaking

I love my SD3G. It only fires as fast as the finger allows!

The polished SST you mentioned with JP springs is a very good lower budget option that work very well.

I used to use a Geissele Super 3 Gun, but I found myself failing to let the trigger reset occasionally when I was shooting fast with it.  The Hiperfire 24C solved that problem.

The Wilson Combat TTU 3G is insanely fast and the best of the best.

SD3G.

My Rise 3lb single stage drop in has a reset of .044" - somewhat shorter than an SD3G.

I'm sure the AR Gold, Elfman, B-GRF, Wilson 3-gun and Hiperfire 24C are all good options.

IIRC their is a european manufacturer that has made a drop in that resets in .02"!

Are you on a budget?  If so than keep what you got.
Next question is do you prefer a single stage or two stage?
I prefer a single stage so that rule Geissele.  Currently running an Elftmann flat face 3 gun trigger which pretty awesome.  The other gun has a Timney single stage trigger which is pretty good and a little cheaper.

That's what I'm currently using. I picked a few of them up for cheap.

I've seen some YT videos of guys running the Geissele new three gun trigger, wow! That is very tempting, but that is an expensive trigger! Seems all good 3 gun triggers are over $200.

I have a Geissele super 3 gun trigger which came in my stag arms model 3g and it is absolutely wonderful. would highly recommend.

I hated the SD3G and the CMC.

Used a SSA-E for years.  Lots of long shots in 3-gun where a 2-stage is handy, and they are still fast.

Love the AR-Gold.

The only other improvement you can make is to take out the long creepy take up of the 'mil spec' trigger - A cut down grip screw, or just buy this 15 bux unit http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/JoeBob_s_Trigger_Adjuster_p/jb-triggeradjuster.htm

After that, your next bet is a Rise Armament trigger $100 https://02b5f6c.netsolstores.com/cart.aspx

Of course, you can go beyond the 100 bux envelope quickly since the majority of aftermarket 'match grade' triggers seemed to hover around $150-$200 range.

This I ran a 3 Gun match with one of my shooting friends AR and he had this trigger.  Now I am just saving money to get one in my AR.

The brownells B-GRF is made by geissele for Brownells. It has the same pull as the S3G with the cost cutting techniques of the G2S. Brownells has it for $175 fairly regularly and occasionally as low as $150.

I prefer a single stage so that rule Geissele.  Currently running an Elftmann flat face 3 gun trigger which pretty awesome.  The other gun has a Timney single stage trigger which is pretty good and a little cheaper.

SD3G is not a single stage design.

They released a new single stage at shot show though.

I agree. I recently installed one and the range trip with it was mind-blowing. I even let a buddy of mine shoot with it and he nearly soiled himself. Now, he wants one. For those who have not tried one, you need to.

I think it's all about user's preference really.

For example. I've been using the SD3G for 6+ years now. I have multiple sets of them. Wanted to try something different so I bought a set of the ELF 3 Gun last year. Wasn't impressed at all. Quality wasn't on par with Geissele products and the trigger break was weird; guess I'm just too used to the SD3G.

I have a Wilson Combat TTU 3gun trigger on one of my ARs.  It is very nice and fast.

And now I have a Timney 3 gun trigger on another AR and it is even better than the TTU 3gun trigger.

I ran one for a season shooting 3 gun and carbine matches.  It's not a single stage.  Have you even shot one?  Do you know the difference between a single stage and two stage?

Be ready for 1000 different answers. Everyone has a favorite, and they are all different.

Narrow your decision down to 2 stage or single stage triggers. That will narrow your search down a lot. I prefer a single stage. I use a Hiperfire 24C that has been Nickel Boron coated. I bought mine before the 24TH came out.

You really should try a few out. Go to a 3gun match and ask people what they have, and see if they will let you dry fire it at the safe table. 99% of people at the match will. I love my 24C. One of the guys I shoot with swears by the AR Gold. I've tried his, and he's tried mine. I don't like his trigger, and he doesn't like mine. Triggers are very subjective, very much about feel. And everyone is going to like a different feel.

I thought the AR-Gold was the best two stage (although there is barely a first stage) and the of the one stages Effleman, Rise, then Timney.  Haven't ever shot the Wilson or JP.  I had 4 SD3Gs at one point before I knew better.  If there was a best value choice the CMC is fairly close to the other single stage triggers mentioned.  I usually shoot my go to ar in comps (suppressed SBR) that has a CMC.

And then there was one more added to the frey........tell you what, looks to be a lot like a Timney and the price is pretty good too.
