What kind of iron sights are people using for offsets? I know Magpul makes a fairly high quality set, but who is used? Or if you use a red dot offset instead, what kind?

I was completely unaware of "high quality" offset sights from Magpul, until I saw this post and found out about MBUS Pro version now. Even then, I wouldn't call those high quality as I have been running Troys for years as backup sights.

Also, I am not sure whether you are talking about back up sights, or offset sights. I consider offset sights to be like JP Short Range Tactical Sight, which are what I use on my rifle for 25 yds or less. Mounting MBUS at an angle would sit too high for rotating and acquiring sights quick and coming back to scope for me as I believe it would require slight vertical movement.

I really do like the JP offset sight as I have a couple of them now.

if you don't mind people snickering behind your back, and pointing at you... an afternoon on the milling machine, and you can make a Big Boy version of the JP sight...

I am just impressed by the fact that you can machine a set of those. I don't have those skills so I buy JP sights.

my original offset sight attempt was to utilize the sighting hole in the base of my TA01 ACOG to mount a ghost ring... .through a little trial and retry, I came up with this...offset and size of the hole... the Burris Zee mount attached to the gas block rail... I thought the parallax problem was solved, but could only sight for one distance... showed promise, and I used this one year at Ft Benning... the coaxial mount with a simple mill cut down the base for alignment solved the parallax problem, though a lot more bulk... worked well for what it was... I now have a TA31F with chevron, and haven't used it too much... so recently re installed the offset for Area 6 in June

Dueck Defense are the only offsets that I have seen that I would feel comfortable using.  I use the heck out of my offsets in the Pro Series.

I never saw the point in them until I watched myself in a video with an array of targets that started off close and then finished with an array of long range.  I noticed that I was spending too much time changing magnification.  Even when I kept it 1x it was slower than with the offsets.  I recently started using the KAC foldable low profile offsets.  They're based off of their 600m micro sights, I like them more than any of the others I've seen.  Most others are bulky and in the way, these might as well not exist until they're deployed.  They tend to be a bit more expensive but the extra 20 or so is worth the difference.

Not the best pictures.
