Semi custom rifle:

JP upper, 18" barrel
JP Rapid configuration handguard
JP Low mass bolt carrier
Matrix aerospace lower
Timney 3lb trigger
Magpul MOE+ grip
Magpul UBR stock
Burris Tac30 on a Burris P.E.P.R mount(only thing about this setup I'm not totally in love with.)

Pistol: XDm 5.25 9mm

Powder river competition trigger kit
Pistolgear patriot magwell
Talon grips
Canyon creek custom 140mm base pad extensions
Extended slide release and magazine release

Shotgun: 24" 930 JM Pro

Only things added are the matchsaver and Briley extended chokes, but I opened up the load port( looks super crappy, but loads like a demon), welded lifter, and ground down the forearm.

Just getting started... looking forward to my first match ... My 3 are...

Daniel Defense DDM4 V2 with EoTech and 3x magnifier and I have a 3 - 12x variable power scope to switch out with the EoTech if they are long distance targets.

Akdal MKA 1919XN 12 g shotgun - AKA the AR12-  with Tooth and Nail Conversions... and 3 10 rounders... and a Sightmark red dot.

HK P30 9mm or if I want to bring her out of the safe.. my HK P7M13 (yes, she's real...)

Hoping to have a lot of fun at my first match.. I've been looking for the perfect 3gun shotgun.. I think I got her... the Akdal 1919 shoots anything I want to put in the mag and does it fast and accurately..

Budget setup for my local club matches.

1. $500 AR build is an Anderson upper and lower with a Bear Creek 18" 1/8 twist mid length gas port heavy barrel and an AIM nickel Boron coated bolt carrier group. It is a gas operated weapon. I would like a piston system but I really can't justify the $. Sight is an Eotech XPS-2. This weapons accuracy is competitive with any of the folks I compete against who use an AR. It is possibly a bit heavy but I have never had a single malfunction.

2. Shotgun is a ATI TACSX2 12ga 18.5" Bbl Tactical Semi-Auto. I added a Williams ghost ring rear sight and made the front sight myself. ATI Scorpion recoil reducing folding stock for a Remington modded to fit the gun. Carlson +2 mag extension making the weapon 7+1 capacity. This shotgun has only $325 invested in it and eats anything I put in it fast as I need it too. It is accurate and  light as they come even with the 18.5 barrel as it is almost a super full choke

3. The 911 is a Girsan MC1911S-G2 .45ACP 5" Sport w/Tac Rail. The trigger is as good as any stock 1911 I have fired to include Kimbers and Colts. Accuracy is very good.  I added a Springfield beveled mag well to help speed magazine changes and that is it. I have accepted the time penalty due to round capacity because I am old and a 1911 lover. Weapon was $385 brand new.

So for $1500 I have a setup while not totally state of the art is competitive at my club and is totally reliable.

Damn, that looks slick.  I'll be honest with you.. I'm going to steal that idea lol

That would go perfect on a custom build I'm putting together.  I'll make sure to credit your username.

Nice job!

Ive got an M2 that I put a nordic tube on and had Benny Hill work is loading port magic and lighten the bolt and I love it. There is just something wickedly sexy about a Salient M2.

Transitioned to open division earlier this year and never looked back, loading shotguns the old fashioned way is for the birds!

</a>" />

The glock still needs to get sent off to magna port, besides that it's all done. I get weird looks for not running a conventional open pistol, but I'd rather not deal with safeties if at all possible. The only thing it really leaves to be desired over a 2011 open pistol is the trigger pull length.

My AR is very front heavy with a faxon ARAK-21 on top a seekins lower. It’s not overtly noticeable most the time since I’m supported 16” med contour barrel.

Most matches I’ve watched in person and online rifle shots unsupported generally are relatively close.

With the amount of rounds going out quickly, I’m not too keen on pencil barrels due to shorter life. I’ve got zero science back up on it, it’s mostly perception..
