I am thinking I'll start shooting 2-gun matches soon.  I typically shoot at best of the west shooting range in Liberty Hill, TX.  I noticed there are several Texans on here so some of you may be familiar with the place.  Their tactical bays are ideal for this kind of practice.  However, they changed their policies this year and don't allow anything larger than 5.56 out of a rifle in their tactical bays.  I'd be shooing my PSL in 2-gun (7.62x54r) heavy-metal class.  So I don't have any place to practice.

Suggestions other than "just go shoot a match"??

what denotes a 2-gun match, i.e. which gun are you missing?

Unless you think you will win or be close to winning I would just go to the match and do your best.  As you do more matches, you will naturally get better.  You can also practice at most ranges without running around.
