| I live in Houston and am looking for a good place to take my first hog. Can anybody recommend a good lease or ranch within a two hour drive? Ive seen a couple online but they dont guarantee success. Ive been looking at the Westfork guide service in montgomery county. Anybody ever heard of them? Any help would be appreciated. |

Have never heard or read a bad thing about Langley Ranch... only great things. Both places within 20 or 30 miles of each other and are completely different hunts. Are you hunting solo? I was hunting solo and had a tough time getting emails or calls returned until I said I could hunt weekdays and I setup hunts really fast. |

It is about 2.5 hours from Houston, but I would highly recommend Wild River Ranch .
Their packages are more than just a hunt... nice lodge, great food, and NV/thermal. The owner goes by Hi-Tech-Rancher here on arfcom. |
