Noticed many people out there using using 1x4 scopes out there for hogs. I'm looking to setup a 6.8 upper for hogs and I'm thinking about going with a Trijicon tr24. Not sure if the german cross hair or the triangle reticle would work better for hogs. Haven't used either. Anyone have any advise on either for hogs out there. I would be grateful.

Thanks

I use three of the 1.25X4's they are great...the german would be suited for target shooting, too much sight picture clutter to see running hogs, the dot is small.

The triangle with a post under it leaves the view way less blocked.

The green one is too bright on my 6.8 for looking through when it is under new moon (dark). When white lights are turned on its useable, (amber  is best)

Any trijicon is worth the money, a one time buy...your done.

Thanks for the reply. The dot on the german cross hair I hear is small and maybe defeating the purpose of the illum reticle. I want something that shows up on those dark bodies.

I have a few with the German reticle and love them, I would try to get to look through them before purchase.
