Hey guys the hogs in my citrus grove have finally outsmarted me completely. Now at night the crickets are ratting me out by stopping singing, The hogs have put two and two together when they stop singing the hogs know I am close. It is impossible to sneak up or hide from crickets as soon as one spots you they all stop singing at the same time. So I need to get a night scope to shoot from further away. what do you guys think of this one.

In the most gentle, civil and succinct way I can say it:
DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON ATN! If you are really on a tight budget, talk to Victor at TNVC, and get set up with a D-300 Gen II, SHP. That is real night vision. If there is any way you can afford it, get a PVS-14, or D-740. If you value your land enough, you can virtually eliminate the hogs from it by harassing them into submission with the proper NVD equipment. It is not easy, and you have to hunt at night at least three nights per week, but with enough pressure, they will eventually move to another place, especially if you learn the combat hog hunt / ambush technique. The instillation of sheer terror into even the most Satanic beasts, can eventually force them to stop jacking up your land. |
