I once knew a good ole fella in Dime Box, Tx. He welded and sold hog traps. Moreover, he ran a hog-yard business. He paid folks per pound for live hogs and sold the live hogs to various companies.

I think I rember seeing his add in the Thrifty Nickel paper! To me this is nothing more fun than trapping and catching the peskey porker! These are around 40lbs I have them on corn chops and milk replacer for calves. It puts some weight on them pretty fast. Just give em plenty of fresh water and them about week before I butcher them I will put them on sweet feed. Then they go on the smoker for a day.
