2 days ago I snuck into a hide site and waited for about 7 hours and got this Boar at 125 yards on the move with 1 shot from my SR-25. Helluva experience that I will remember forever. This Boar weighed over 350 lbs possibly closer to 400, measured 6ft 11 in after we skinned him

The .308 passed through the entire bear, the hydrostatic shock I observed through the lungs ended him very quickly and I nicked the bottom ventricle of the heart but he stopped breathing before he bleed out internally.
I used a165 grn bonded bullet and the bear was easily dispatched. |
