| I was wondering if there was a website or a place where i can get information about introducing turkeys to area. I have 131 acres that includes-wooded area, grass land, low land with a pond. the first question I have is, can turkeys be raised a few weeks and released. thank you. |

| Google Lovett Williams. He's probably the foremost authority on restocking wild turkeys. My dad knows him pretty well and has hunted with him a bit. FWIW, in their restocking efforts, they trapped wild birds from Fisheating Creek down in the muck and introduced them, rather than raising them. I would think trapped birds would fare much better than raised birds. |
