Your bird sounds like a nighthawk. http://www.bentler.us/eastern-washington/animals/birds/nighthawk-flying.jpg I was going to say Night Hawk and then I saw your post, we use to go out at night and watch the Night Hawk eat bugs around Pole Lights. |

what call/caller are you using? What time of day/night are you calling? A Johhny Stewart Predator Master electronic. It was cheap. It sucks and I know it. I have called in one yote with it. I've called at sunrise, sunset, and every hour in between. I know the problem is me, I just haven't figured out what exactly yet. |

Just keep at it, something will happen and then a light bulb will go off and you will figure it out.
When I started Muskie fishing I asked questions, read articles and everything and still didn't figure it out and then a guy gave me the best advice, JUST FISH !!! I did "Just Fish" and then all of a sudden I caught 2 and started to see a pattern and I have been doing better and learning more ever since so I will give you the same advice. JUST HUNT Oh, and we will never totally figure these damn yotes out, it is tough hunting them here in Ohio so I know it is tough all over, those damn yotes are pretty smart |
