What are UV lights use for while hunting? As illumination for NV scopes? To illuminate blood trails? TIA, -3D |

In terms of blood tracking, I'm assuming you are talking about one of these.
I haven't tried one but heard terrible things about the first few models that came on the market. I know Cabela's pulled a lot of them after customer complaints but that was a year or two ago. The best that I've found for blood tracking is a Coleman gas lantern. Wrap some aluminum foil around half of the lamp to better direct the light. Something about the gas light really causes the blood to pop out more than a normal flashlight. |
