Ok guys, I need some input here. I am at work, it is 2:45AM CST. I brought all my gear and had planned to leave straight from work and head to my stand. As I am going through my gear my stomach sank. I left my boots at home. Its a 30 minute drive from here to my stand. I will leave right at 5:50. I have on a pair of cowboy boots. If I go back home to get my Rocky Thinsulates it will add an extra ten minutes, putting me in the stand around 6:45. Should I just suck it up and put a pair of hot hands in my cowboy boots and get in the woods right at day break, or should I go home, get my boots and not get into my stand until about 15 minutes after day light?

The low is going to be 29, which will be when I get into the stand and I will prob stay till around 11am and it should be around 35 by then. I am in North Alabama BTW

I dunno but I think cowboys wear cowboy boots no matter what the weather.

well, apparently I am not a cowboy. I chose to save time on the front end and rock the Justins. It cost me, possibly a few toes and having to come down an hour before I had planned on it.
