| I'm looking at buying one and have a question. If you don't have a separate viewer, can you just take out the SD card and plug it into a digital camera and look at the pictures? |

I haven't tried it that way but yet. It simply saves them as .jpgs
I pull out my SD card and throw it in my laptop to view them. You can get a cheap USB adapter for them as well. Stay away from the Stealth Cameras, they are battery hogs. |

I use Moultree game cams and just started with the Stealth cameras.
I use my digital camera to veiw the photos and I have a portable picture printer to print the ones I want to keep. I captured photo's of 2 bucks i took last season on the game cams. As far as battery use, get a camera that allows for the hook up of an outside power source. I my case I hooked up solar panels to run the cameras. Never ran out of power but did run out of sd card space if i did not clear the card every 2 weeks. |

Did you hook up solar to the Moultrees? I just bought the i40. I have the I40 and even during the winter the batteries lasted for several weeks at a time without any additional power. Since it has warmed up, its gotten even better. I heard the battery life on the i40 was great, which is why I just bought one. I figured if hooking up a small solar panel would be easy it might be worth the effort. |

Since it has warmed up, its gotten even better. My moultree I40 gets decent battery life but i found their solar unit on sale for 20 bucks and could not pass it up. I hooked the solar unit up and never replaced batteries since. The solar unit works with any camera with an outlet plug and the correct voltage. |
