Anyone here have any real world experience with them? I killed all of my deer this year by the first week of November, so I didn't have to endure any freezing temperatures. If I'd have had to be hunting now in muzzleloader or late archery season, I'd be freezing my butt off (even with about $600 invested in my Cabela's MT050 Extreme Whitetail clothing). Should I buy one sometime before next fall just in case, or are they an expensive gimmick? They seem to have quite a few well-known hunters endorsing them, but you know how that goes.

Did you look at the price? Eek.

I have a friend who takes an old sleeping bag out and slips his lower body into that, keeping his arms free. Works for him.

Oh, yeah. That's why I've considered them for a couple of years, but have never thrown down the funds. They'd be worth the $300 though if they worked exactly as advertised. My current bibs/parka are advertised by Cabela's as something you'd never get cold in, but that's a big lie.

I have owned two of them, upgraded when they came out with a tall. Best, last piece of warm clothing you will ever need. It rolls up into a small backpack size with its own straps. You can walk out in light clothes without sweating, then put this bad boy on and be warm as toast the rest of the day. I keep my water/soda in there with me so it does not freeze while out on sstand. Last week I bow hunted in Michigans Upper Penninsula, it was below zero in the morning and single digits during the day, never got cold and because I could stay out on stand seen lots of deer. Pricey, yes, but it will last a lifetime.
