I got the 2.8 - 10 x 44 model.

I didn't have the money to buy another Leupold and now I'm wondering if this scope is good quality enough to be on my 300 win mag?

My experience with Simmons optics have been less than acceptable.

yeah, I think I got buyers remorse now. I think I'll put the atec on a .22 and man up for what I should have bought the first time around.
