Just picked up one of the stealth cameras,Very sensetive .My Que is if we aim it at our feeder will small critters set it off ? Squirrels ,Birds. Also whats the best setting between cycles ?,we have it set at 25 min ,snaps 8 pic every 25 min when activated.We are new with the camera,ANY INFO WOULD HELP THANKS |

Yes, small critters will set it off. At a feeder, you'll have animals milling around the same area for quite some time, so be prepared to get lots of photos of the same deer, unless you set the delay pretty long. I'm not familiar with that camera, but if you can set it to take a single photo every 5 or 10 minutes during activity, it might help you avoid getting 100 pictures of the same doe. |

I don't have the same camera so not sure if you can set it up like this. Once triggered, mine is set to take 3 pictures in a row at 15 second intervals. It's reset after 3 minutes. If the same animal is still there, I get 3 more pics of it. I have a 1 GB card in mine which means I can take 851 pictures at 3 mega pixels. I check it every other week and it's never been full. I just checked it yesterday and I had 439 pictures. It only takes a second to click through each pic so don't be afraid to take extra pics. |
what camera do you have? I have contemplated buying one...but there are so damn many....
