[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first deer kill!!

I went deer hunting for the 1st time in a really long time and finally shot my 1st deer. I took the shot at 250 yards with a Ruger M77 Hawkeye 308win/Leupold VXII 3-9x40 scope and hit her just in front of the left front leg as she turned on me. She field dressed at 90lbs. Not to bad for a 1st I think.

I was very tired. Only had about an 1-2hrs of sleep the night before.
