I should be present to NC today's net, but we've been having severe thunderstorms every day for the past week right around net time, so we'll see how that goes. On the bright side, almost 6 inches of rain this month and we've been in a drought so it was much needed. In the next couple weeks we'll need a volunteer NC due to my work obligations. |

I had your test solid pre-net, Weaponeer, and then nada during net time. We had one check in and your pre-net test this week. Prop didn't seem that bad but it sure seems spotty this week. I'll be out a couple weeks but hopefully it's better with more stations when I return. |
It was so bad I thoght maybe I had a radio/computer/antenna problem, but I tried two different antennas and two separate radio/computer configs (main desk and my go-box) with the same results. We've been having similar problems on the SSB net. I'll just blame it on an early demise to the current sunspot cycle.

I have active lightning nearby, but I think I can still operate. If the hits are closer than a mile I'll pull the plug. net reminders in about 3 minutes. ETA: Reminder #1 out on 20M at 2330Z but at reduced power, 2345Z should be full power. Put out a request for reports at 2333Z on 40M, nothing heard. Will try a couple more times before 2345Z |
