Looking for Triangulation Software / App Suggestions

My team came in 2nd for the past 2 years. One individual who has won for his team 4x's, uses a triangulation app. Hey cool, rules say it is OK.....

Anyone here have experience in using any? Care to share with us?

While this isn't only an "app", have you checked out the DIY system called RASHawk (based on the open-source REDHAWK system).

It consists of a set of Remote Sensor Nodes, a Central Control Computer, and a private WiFi Network Access Point for everything to communicate on.

While this project is somewhat complicated, and requires knowledge of many disciplines, it would seem like this would be a killer system once you had it built & working.

If you are good with a map and have the ability to use high gain antennas you can do it the old fashioned way. We used to have a few hunts on 430 MHz...I build a co-phased array using dual 450 MHz yagi's. Looked a little stupid but got you pointed in the right direction and helped cut down on multipath pretty well.
