You can hook it up to a radio and use it as a digital modem, or as a standalone device. |

You can't buy them anymore. That's the unfortunate thing, because if enough people used them to get a nice support network, it'd be awesome.
I'm not within range of any d-star repeaters from my house or shack, and I don't have a d-star radio at home anymore (only in the car), so in order to get into the repeater I'm actually the trustee for, I have to do something, lol. |

That was the only thing I ever really wondered about. The yahoo group was useless. They launched a dvrptr 3 like the week after my 2 arrived... |
