Well, after about 50 years, and a half dozen false starts, I passed my Tech test last week. What website do I use to look up my call sign? BTW, thanks to Jupiter for his assistance. Everything works, getting your check in the mail.

ETA: stupid phone keyboard.

I use this one.  Change the search type to name and enter yours, last, first mi.  Enter it the samev way you did on your application.  You can also just enter your last name or last name, first name, but you'll get a longer list if your name is common.

ULS Search

ETA: You can also use the FRN you got when you registered with the FCC.

Oh, for the programming cable... cool!  Remember, download an image first, save it, and name it something like "Original Image 8-23-15."

THEN make a copy of that image, alter the copy (freq, tones, labels, etc) and upload to the radio.  Also save that image with another name/date.

You can also go to QRZ.com, and search, upper left corner.  You will need to enter your name, and in the drop down, tell it you are
searching by name.  QRZ will have you listed just about as soon as the FCC updates.

Join QRZ and eHam, take ownership of your page, personalize it, photo, bio, etc.

Check your Grid Square against a map.  I live quite close to the line between two grid squares.  Though my address says I am
in town, I am actually out of city limits and across the line in the next grid square.  So I changed the grid square to my actual
grid square.
