| Downloaded, installed and verified. Tried to make a couple of calls and while it indicated that I was connected to the node I heard no traffic and no static. I know most repeaters are pretty dead during the day but should I be able to hear other traffic on the repeater if there is any? I am concerned about having to port my router to be able to use EL but I don't want to if I can help it. Thanks |

I'm on and monitoring
The ARF-COM IRLP/Echolink Net will be held on IRLP Western Reflector 9257. This IRLP reflector is linked to Echolink Conference Server *DCF-ARC* 336037 full time. Echolink user's just have to click on "Node Types", then "Conferences", then scroll down the list to "DCF-ARC". Click/tap DCF-ARC and then Connect. |

ArF ham is best ham!
As for the echolink, you can do the echo reflector and make sure that your voice comes back. (a good idea) Then stick around for another hour plus and then connect to the DCF-ARC conference server at 7:30 CDT and say howdy to all the lushes that show up for the Friday night ArF net. |
