| If you're into 6 meters, get to your radios. It's wide open across the east coast, central US and moving west. |
| I'm not experienced on 6 meters, but it's cool and I'm trying my new Cushcraft R8. I'm getting quite a few of JT65 decodes, but they're all basically from 1000 miles away, in a straight line down the center of the US (draw a line straight down from the eastern edge of NE). I'm in Vegas. Another guy here in town (with a much better setup) is making contacts in eastern Canada. |

I hear a couple strong stations but most of it seems to be skipping over me. start calling Listening to a guy by Salt Lake City work his 97th SSB contact tonight right now! My power line noise just started acting up again. Gonna have to call them again... ETA: Worked him even though I'd worked him in years past. Then the band went silent here. Guess I'll have to get the new antenna on the new tower and get on earlier next time. |

Use this and sign up for the band opening alerts. Also, it's only as good if folks post spots. The band can be open without anything showing up on the page. |

Thank you, sir! I've never seen that one before and it's a little more friendly with features that the other one doesn't have. |
