I got no audio. I went through the  firewall Static IP and port forwarding, I can transmit and hear it on the repeater on the radio. But no sound into the headset. Sound works fine with youtube, mp3 and system noises. Should I hear omething when I connect to the Echolink Test server? The status bar at the bottom is moving.  Any Ideas?  Jay

I assume you are using Echolink installed on your PC?
Go to Tools, Adjust sound device, Playback and make sure you have correct device selected.
Also go to System Setup, Audio and make sure correct Input and Output devices are selected.

I had a similar issue when I set up echolink to act as a remote link for my local repeater.  I am using Windows 8.1 with a SignaLink USB to interface to my Yaesu 857d.  I had the exact same issue.

I found out that the audio sources were incorrectly named in the setting menu of echolink.  For example, if I selected "USB audio codec" which is usually the SignaLink, I would get audio out of my pc speakers.  Both my mic and speaker settings had this issue.  I ended up having to just try each different audio source one at a time until I found the combo that correctly used the Signalink for both transmit and receive audio.

Not sure if this is your problem or not but it could be worth checking.
