Their gear has been discussed here in the past. The ARFCOM ham forum was the first place that I learned about them. I held off on making a purchase as I just did not have the money. I hate hearing about this as I know it will be a setback.

I placed an order for some things I need pseudo non ham related so I can justify it with the wife.  We work from home on the computer so we have to have power backup. I figure it would help them rebuild and would get us in a better position in a power failure/work anywhere mode.
I don't need it but I had looked at their DHAP for D-Star use in the past. They stopped making them temporarily it appears. |
| I have one of their Juicebox MKII systems and it is really nice. Also a Re-Volt and some small accessories. Their power pole mounting plates are fantastic. I met the owner, Bill, at Dayton and he's a nice guy to boot. Saw their vid on FB the other day and went ahead and placed an order for some more accessories to get some funds their way to help. Hoping they set up some sort of crowd funding to help further with the rebuild. Innovative companies, making quality gear with pride in America, are what we need more of! |
| DocSarvis - I am glad that you happy with it. I am getting the R2. I had looked at Goal Zero for their power packs like the Yeti but I just could not pull the trigger. Knowing that HPS was made in the US and watching the videos made me want one of the Juice Boxes. |
