Thanks raysheen! I got through for an all time new one, and found it because of you! What amazes me is when a guy like you finds a new one that I have had for a couple of years now. This is one of those hobbies where a new guy can bag North Korea and REALLY piss off guys that have been in it for decades. Armenia was actually one of those that kind of piss me off. I got him in '12 sometime and when I went through my logs noticed I hadn't gotten a QSL card so I sent him an email. "Oh yeah! I just got that one yesterday! I'll get it right out to you!"
Ten days later it arrived. |

It's funny how it all plays out. I look at the DX most wanted on ClubLog and see several wanted highly by North America that I've already worked. I also see some that most have worked and I've never heard on the air before. This is one of those. Yeah, I know what you mean. The one that REALLY pissed one guy off at a club meeting was when I said I bagged Tajikistan on the PRC 320 with 30 watts AND had the QSL card to prove it. |

Glad some of you got to work him! It was a first for me. Just like KwaiChangCaine, I managed to get some good rare ones off the bat and still have some holes in the "slightly less common than Germany yet more common than North Korea" category. A couple months ago I had no idea what was rare vs something that I might hear everyday so I just worked everyone that I could. |

Missed him as I was doing brass prep last night. Damn.

Been trying to get Israel on any band, any mode. Still no joy. Number 304 of 340 on the ClubLog list it should have been bagged long ago. Even listened for the Holyland Contest last weekend hoping. Nope. Couldn't hear them. |

BUT if you catch one of 'em the rest rat-pack you. After months I finally bagged one with the old throw out your suffix only when he was beaming South America. He took the bait, asked who had my suffix and I gave him my prefix and bagged him. He immediately went to Jewish Conspiracy headquarters and told them what happened. I was INSTANTLY besieged by Israelis that wanted their call in my log book. |

![]() See? I told you so. They also sank RMS Titanic. Planned by a Rosenberg, financed by a Goldberg and sunk by an Iceberg.
I swear, if North Korea allowed a DXpedition and I made a QSO there then a week later that fat little dwarf runnin' the joint would make ham radio the national sport and would issue rigs, 20K linears, 200 foot tall towers and my logbook would have 650 NK QSOs in it inside three weeks. |

6m counts but I don't think 2m does. Grids don't count only countries. Only mentioned the grids to make the 2m QSO sporting. No challenge in simplex across town. Oh well when I'm truly bored I'll start doing 2m DXCC via EME. Long way to go before that happens. |

I stand corrected. Reread the rules and 160m to 6m except for 60m counts. Only mentioned the grids to make the 2m QSO sporting. No challenge in simplex across town. Oh well when I'm truly bored I'll start doing 2m DXCC via EME. Long way to go before that happens. Quoted:
