Got my Boom Microphone installed today

Really like it so far.

Nice to have the cables out of the way when trying to write everything down

Nice setup. Booms rock! I considered a pantograph type boom like you have, but ultimately decided it would get in the way of my displays by coming over the top of them. Instead I went with a standard straight boom on a tripod stand so that it would fly in from the side "under the radar" so to speak and not take up any table space. It also didn't need to be fastened to anything. When I'm not using the mic I just telescope the boom into a collapsed position or if I want it completely out of the way I tilt the boom up towards the ceiling.
