I ended up being able to pick up a couple of Selex PRR radios. These are for short range, intersquad communication. The question I have is how to connect a pair of Peltor Comtacs or MSA Sordins. As you already know those headsets use a standard six pin connector. I don't believe these radios have that type of connection for the headsets. Are their any types of convertion connectors so that I'm able to use the headsets with those radios? Here's a link to the radios and a picture of them below.

I made one by  taking the connector and plug from an old headset, and added an female nexus plug for the peltors. Not sure if i have the papers on which cable goes where, but i will take a look.
Not sure about adding a PTT, i only use the PRR ptt-button.

I always liked the fire team radios. People tried to make them into something they are not.

good luck

Yeah, I know. I know exactly what they are and what to expect. They have a wireless PTT that comes with them. I want to use my Peltors or Sordins with them and I've seen that TCI carriers an adapter but $150 seems a bit much especially since I'll need two.

If you could find the papers or instructos for making that I would greatly appreciate it. That would be a great help. I can't spend over $300 just for two adapators for headsets.

I found what I need. It's a Lemo to Nexus U-92 Connector. Those things aren't exactly cheap unfortunantly.

decent radios for what they are - I rocked a dual and it was good gear but I always used the stock headset....

I'm going to find a way to either get the lemo to nexus u92 connect or hopefully talk to someone here that knows how to make one. I can do it if I have instructions. I'll use the stock headsets at first but it's going to have to end up on my good ones.

Does anyone know how to make the lemo to nexus cable? If so I'd be interested to see the instructions so I can save about $300.
