This past Monday I recieved an e-mail from ARRL / VEC that I've been Accredited as a VE! This Ham stuff is great!!!!

Remember there are more than one VEC. The ARRL-VEC charges $15 for their service and charges again if someone has to retake a test. The Laurel-VEC charges nothing for their services and never has.  You might want to start a Laurel-VEC team.  http://larcmdorg.doore.net/vec/

I e-mailed mine in and they did it over the weekend. I scanned and e-mailed it to them on Friday and got an e-mail on Monday. I would call them at the number on the front of the manual.

Congrats!  When I aced the extra tes, was asked and became a VE for W5YI then did a reciprocal with ARRL, so, badged for both.  Love doing it!
