Has anyone ever dealt with the Micor repeaters? I recently acquired one high power VHF and one high power UHF and was wanting to donate them to Texas Tech's club for when we finally get around to moving the current UHF and VHF repeaters to a new location. I have one cabinet and two repeaters and would also like to crossband the repeaters since they will be at the same location.

I have a Compa-Station (Micor) UHF machine. I did put an older aftermarket controller board in it, but other than that I don't have alot of experience with them. What do you need to know?
The "Repeater "builder" website has tons of info though.

My club has several Micro based repeaters - 2m, 440, and then converted low band for 6 meter, and a convereted high band for 220.  If you have specific questions, I am very good friends with the guy that built all of these machines.  They are rock solid.  Avoid controllers not made by CAT.

I was planning on using an aftermarket controller but my biggest question is, what is the best way to go about crossbanding the system?

You need the manuals.  They point to each of the tie in points on the back of the boards.  Its not exactly straight forward - you need to have a understanding of the systems.  You also might not have all off the cards that you need.  I have a UHF repeater (unfinished) in my garage.
