Don't forget to watch (or record...on ABC) the TV show Last Man Standing tonight. One of the producers, John Amodeo, has been a Ham for 40 years, is a big supporter, and has worked amateur radio into this episode.

I spot the Icom gear every episode. Something like half the staff has gotten their license since it started. Oh and it's a funny show.

As did I, neat. I've rarely seen any episodes though, just don't watch much TV.

Elsewhere, Mandy is deprived of modern technology, so she resorts to using an old ham radio and makes some faraway friends.

That radio didn't look old to me.

All HAM radios are old and useless. Progressive humanity switched to cell phones and Internet long time ago. Who needs that old HAM radio junk...

And remember the battle at Omaha was not in Nebraska - as many people mistakenly think. The show is funny, just started watching it this season.
