Has anyone here put the SRH77CA on an antenna analyzer?  I'm curious if it's resonant on 2m and 70cm.

ETA:  Don't know about 70cm (my antenna analyzer doesn't do UHF) but the antenna that came with my FT-60R is resonant on 2m.

When I needed to replace the antenna on my FT-270, Smiley Antenna Co. was recommended to me. I like that antenna...it works quite well. Granted I only have one of their single band antennas, but you might look into it.

the Smiley 270A gets great reviews.. and at $19.95... that's cheap..

I went with 2 replacements

MFJ-1719S

and the


MFJ-1713S

My house is a split level and when I work in the lower level I can hardly get anything, so I got the 1719S for when I am working and the 13S for general outside work.. will see how they work..reviews were decent on them..

Looks like they stiffened it up a bit. I have one of those that aren't as stiff. Damn is it whippy. It works great though.

mine is the SMA24J  from Comet. Whippy little whip is whippy. Works great though.
