I thought I read a right up about someone using this on the hood of their truck
CP-5NMO Anyone remember seeing a right up? |

I assume you are talking about a mag mount antenna. Top center of a roof is an ideal location.
You can mount it on the hood but it may pick up more ignition noise and/or interfere with engine control module. Antenna will be less effective when compared to the roof mounting. Install several grounding strips around the hood hinges if you decide to mount it on the hood. |
