My Wouxon KG-UVD1P. Here is the info: On the programming screen under Rx what do I put? Under Tx? Under Decode CTC/DCS? Under Encode CTC/DCS? Under Wide/Narrow I have it set for wide, set for high power, Scan Add = on, busy lock = off. Please help, as I am feeling a little confused. I know that the - means it's a -000.6000 reduction, but is that from Tx or Rx? If it's -.600 do I program it to Rx at frequency and Tx at -.600 or the opposite? ERMAGERD NEEEWWWWBBB. Test on Saturday, btw, and I will pass the Tech license test thanks to all your help.

None. You can try 123.0, but many amateur repeaters do not transmit CTCSS tones... maybe try programming two channels, one with and one without. Delete the unneeded one later. If the repeater does transmit CTCSS, using it on decode may help avoid interference or noise on your receive. Never use narrow for amateur use unless you know you have a specific need to do so (which will be essentially never). Scan add is if you want that channel included when scanning. Busy lock would not allow you to transmit if the receiver is active with a different ctcss/dcs tone than what is programmed - prevents you from interfering with others on a shared, multi-tone repeater (not common in amateur service).
