From one SC to another it's GTG!

So what it cost a few bux?  it was a worthy expense when I used it for General, and passed in a matter of minutes...

can't go wrong

I've used them for Tech and General.  I just got the subscription for Extra too.  Love their site.

I used to be novice back in the 70s. Using them now to go all the way to Extra. Three days 16 hours a day, I am passing it all but I am not going to be happy until I get 100% on all and fully grasp the theory behind it all. Tech I could have passed with no instruction at all, but then I have a degree in EE.

I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Do It!!!

I am also a cheap bastard.

I studied for my General exam here: http://www.qrz.com/hamtest/

You have to register at QRZ.com first, but after you register you can test for free at the above link.

Now get back to work Airman!

Big fan of them here.
Subscribed to upgrade to General and upgraded sub to work on Extra after I passed the General.
I need to get to work on that as the sub is for two years and I'm 15 months into that.
Yikes.

Save your money...go to HamExam.org

How this site is different

This site learns which questions you understand and which ones you don't. It does this by tracking your answers to every question. It then applies a weight to each question, using the following priorities:

1st priority - questions you haven't seen yet
2nd priority - questions you have previously answered wrong
3rd priority - questions you have answered correctly

Using this system, you are guaranteed that you will eventually see all of the questions from a given test. You are more likely to see questions that you need help with again and again until you get them right. I feel this is a great way to see what questions you need to work on.

This site makes it so that it jumbles the answer.  Is the real test and questions given as it is printed on the exam questions or is it jumbled like on this site?

I used it for my extra, worked great and I crushed the test. Money well spent in my opinion.

I missed one on my Extra after using it and I think I know which question too.  After learning the -j notation in college and forgetting it, I refused to learn it again!  I think I guessed wrong on that one.  Silly thing is that I want to learn it now since I'm playing with antennas and feedpoint impedance matching.

I highly recommend HTO.  I could have passed without it, but it's nice knowing that you'll pass with no problem going into the test.  No stress at all.
