I got my Technician ticket in August of last year and had a great time on the 2M repeater in the area until everyone moved to HF in the late fall. Needless to say I have made no contacts over the winter. I was poking around the Radio Shack at the local mall today and found one of Gordon Wests' study guides for the General Class and figured it was time. Can't wait to upgrade and build my first HF antenna.
