ARRL has a bragging cert available IIRC http://www.arrl.org/was

they also have 5WAS. All states on 5 bands

I'm going to see if I can get out and do some more portable stuff this week. what times are you available? I'm heading to Louisiana for three weeks starting Thursday, so it'll have to be before then if you want to make a go of it.

edit: ha, just noticed that it's Tuesday already. I guess that only leaves tomorrow. Luckily I am free all day if you want to set up a sked.

0730-0830 drop off car at shop. 1630-1730 medical stuff.

wow I dig your enthusiasm. I think it's contagious, heh. Are you available in the next hour or so? I'm eyeballing a tree outside my apartment that looks like it'd be ideal for my 20m 1/4 wave vertical. If I can pull this off, I can operate QRO from a power supply, though it probably won't help, what with the big ass hills blocking my view of your ionosphere. After I finish lunch, I'm going to put my boots on (snow's about a foot deep over there) and and see what's what.

I hear the AK station with lots of QRM from both sides. No copy on Pic.

Using the 160-L antenna and internal tuner - seems best out of what I have available at the moment.
