New qth has enough space for either an 80 or 40 meter 4 square array but not both separately.  Will they still work if I situate the 40 inside to 80 meter square? Maybe make the corners of one line up with the center of the sides of the other. Just image all the coax and control cable to be buried not counting all those radials. LOLLOL

I have heard some really amazing things about arrays like you are talking about. If you can do it, I'd go for it.

DX Engineering has lots of info and gear for this.

Keep us posted!!!

You know, you could also do a 4-square RX only array as well, with a big vertical for TX.  You'd have to cut a couple
different sets of phasing lines, but that would give you multiband coverage. Everything I've heard about the DXE
4 square RX system has been very positive.

If I do it I will go all the way using DX Engineering kit for transmit and receive. 80 meter verticals are close to 65 feet tall. Some of the guys are using 20 feet of 3" irrigation pipe for the first section.

In researching some there will be some swr interaction but it can be trimmed out. Both ground radial systems are tied together in using a ring ground to surround the whole array, May have to hang some flags from them to keep all the curiosity down,
