In the SSTV thread, this is what I was hearing the guys on 40m using: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8aW1-BH4LM (same sound). They were using it to send pictures back and forth, but apparently it can be used to transfer any kind of file, and has some sort of error correction so you get an actual copy. It appears this the author of the program's page: Link (scroll down to downloads) Here's a page to some more info: Link (downloads, help files, etc) I haven't been able to try it yet, but maybe we could tee that up for the experimental digital net? It's intrigueing to me in that this in theory will let you transfer any kind of file, not just a pic. Anybody ever used this critter before? -Slice |

I tried it a while back.
I'd turn it on 20 meters and come back later and find a bunch of pics. Most of the pics were kinda nerdy ( go figure) one was the P-51 race plane crashing into the crowd of spectators . . . . I thought that was poor taste for ham radio. This was right after that crash |
