Worked 10 Meter FM for the first time today. Picked up Netherlands, Germany, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and worked Cayman Islands from the car. Also picking up a repeater on 29.660 at the moment.

I have heard some stations on 10 meter fm, never talked to anyone. But I did talk to a guy in Colorado on 10m AM, he was on some old Collins rig running 60w, I was running 35 on the 706. It was the first time I worked AM on HF. Now I have an old boat anchor on the way to restore. AM is addictive!

Man, you aren't kidding!  I haven't heard this many stations on 10M since the cycle peak around 1980.

Trying to get T32C on there since that is the last place I can get them w/ what I have setup.

Been open all afternoon. KL8DX in Alaska said he hopped on 10m to give a buddy a call and ended up in a pileup all afternoon.

ETA Just worked JG1LRE on 10M.

It's fading out here now, but I was hearing LOTS of stations on 10, both SSB and FM.  I didn't work any DX because the pile-ups were huge and I got on a little too late today, maybe tomorrow.  Heard S. Korea for the first time!

I wonder if this has anything to do with the meteor activity?

Any time I am in the shack I have a receiver tuned to 29.600 FM and another on 29.000 AM. Perhaps I'll catch some of you there.

back in the early 1990's there was a 10 meter repeater in the Virgin Islands.

It was a lot of fun.

It's really great to see 10 m open like this again

I worked T32C the other evening from near St.Louis. It was a solid signal and kind of neat to work him on 10m FM.
