Anyone else get a contact with one of these Antarctic groups?
I worked AO1AAW (Spain) activating WAP-203 on 40m PSK31. Didn't know a thing about them until I saw the special event on the waterfall. Saw K4A earlier, a US station, but missed that contact because he was calling CQ DX and I thought he was in the US.

| Damn, I missed it. I have been busy the last two nights filling out QSL cards so I can confirm my DXCC. I had a contact last fall with the Nuemeyer Station in Antarctica and also noticed as I was going through the log I had a contact with R1ANP around that time which was a Russian group that was down at the Progress base. |
| Didn't get a contact with Antarctica. Hoped to make a contact with our crew who is supporting the National Science Foundation but just didn't happen. Summer is over and they've bugged out of the ice. Laying over in New Zealand when the earthquake hit. Haven't heard if they are OK or not. |

Any stations on phone? 7.170.5 AO1AAW, just worked him. Same station I worked on PSK31. They update their logs at the end of each day and upload to their QRZ.com page where you can confirm the contact. Just put your call in the "Log Search" window.
