No prob, sorry it wasn't as good on my end.   I could make out probably about half what you were saying, tried filtering out as much background as I could, but I was having a pretty difficult time.  Might be the way I have my antenna set up, just a inverted V that is north/south mostly, probably works better for east/west stuff but I'm not sure just yet.

Thanks for the help!   Maybe next time will be better!    Have a good night.

I checked my logs, and we had a QSO back in 2009 when I was still in ND.

Of course, that one was Olivia. That stuff will get through anything. Suprisingly though... the MT63 did fade a bit, but I was still able to copy 100%. Cool stuff

MT63 has 12 seconds worth of interleave and FEC. It is more fade and QRM resistant than Olivia by far. It doesn't quite copy as far down into the noise, but it's close to Olivia. The best part is that it is SO much faster.

17 had been up  and down today.  One minute a signal may be 20 over 9 and a few minutes later completely fades out... then back up.

Worked CU7AA in the Azores again.   Got him  on the first call again.  He is usually easy for me.
